Natalia Jiménez Gallardo ́s latest creation Geometry of Experience builds a choreographic discourse with three dancers and a percussionist together as one only interdependent body. The choreographer enters a new field of exploration with the continuous tuning that bodies make in order to survive. Anything that contains agency conveys a sense of interdependency that speaks about an unstable present, full of conflict, disagreement and dissonance.Out of this layout, –and because of this continuous being in relation that defines us– lines, tension, parallelisms, triangulations, vortexes, and states of mind emerge. Percussionist Lucía Martínez live musical composition acts as a turning wheel in generating new spaces every new cycle of the piece. This adjustment renders space-time adaptation inevitable.
